We treat creator income the way an accountant would: gross → net → after-tax, every line inspectable. Use it to price a brand deal, plan your quit date, or just stop guessing.

How the calculators work
- What is the CreatorDecide fair-rate engine?
- The fair-rate engine triangulates a brand-deal price using CPM, audience reach, niche multiplier, engagement rate, and usage rights. Every assumption is shown on the page so creators and brands can see how the number was built — no black box.
- How accurate are the tax calculations?
- The calculators apply current federal self-employment tax (15.3% on the SE base), federal income tax brackets, and per-state income tax rates. They are estimates for planning, not tax filings — your actual liability depends on deductions, credits, and entity structure not modeled here. Always confirm with a CPA before making major income decisions.
- Does CreatorDecide store my financial inputs?
- No. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your income, expense, and rate inputs are never sent to a server, never stored, and never shared. Refresh the page and the inputs are gone.
- When should a creator switch from sole proprietor to S-Corp?
- The break-even is roughly $40k-$60k in net self-employment income, depending on state. Above that, the SE tax savings on distributions usually outpace the added admin cost (payroll, filings, reasonable salary). The LLC vs. S-Corp calculator shows the side-by-side break-even for your specific income and state.
