Privacy Policy

This site, creatordecide.com (“the site,” “we,” or “us”), is built around one principle: the calculators should never need your personal data to work. Almost everything is computed in your browser, and we don't ask for an email to see a result.

What we collect

1. Nothing you type into the calculators

Revenue numbers, filing status, brand deal offers, audience sizes — none of it leaves your browser. We don't store, log, or transmit calculator inputs anywhere. The math is all client-side.

2. Basic server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare keeps short-term logs of incoming requests — IP address, approximate geographic region, user agent, and which URL was requested. These logs exist for security and reliability (blocking attacks, spotting outages) and are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from these logs.

3. Analytics (planned)

We may add privacy-respecting analytics in the future (for example, aggregate page-view counts via a cookieless service). If and when that happens, we'll update this page with the specific vendor, what they see, and how to opt out.

4. Advertising

This site is ad-supported and displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google AdSense may set cookies on your browser to show more relevant ads and measure ad performance. Google uses these cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:

• Google's Ad Settings — opt out of personalised ads from Google.
• www.aboutads.info — opt out of personalised ads from participating third-party vendors collectively.
• Your browser's built-in controls — most browsers let you block or delete cookies entirely.

Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's advertising policies.

Cookies

First-party cookies: The site does not set any first-party cookies of its own. Browser features like dark-mode preference are stored in your browser's local storage — they never leave your device.

Third-party cookies: Google AdSense sets third-party cookies via the pagead2.googlesyndication.com domain to serve and measure ads. These are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can manage or block them via Google's Ad Settings or your browser controls.

Third parties

We do not sell or share personal data. Current third parties with a role in the site:

• Cloudflare — hosting and CDN (privacy policy).
• Google AdSense — display advertising. May set cookies and collect browsing data to serve and measure ads. Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — typography. Fonts are served directly from our own domain, so Google does not receive request-level data when you visit the site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (EU/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA, and similar regimes elsewhere), you may have the right to request:

• A copy of any personal data associated with you.
• Correction or deletion of that data.
• To opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of that data (we don't do either, but you have the right to ask).

Because we don't collect accounts, emails, or identifiers on the site, in most cases we don't have any personal data to return. If you believe we do, write to ideas@boringhaus.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

When we add analytics, ads, or any other data-collecting feature, we'll update this page and bump the “last updated” date. Material changes will be noted in the footer or a site banner.
