These terms (“Terms”) govern your use of creatordecide.com (“the site,” “we,” or “us”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What the site is

A free-to-use collection of educational calculators and articles about creator-economy finance. Everything is published as-is. You are responsible for your own decisions.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the site to compute estimates, read articles, and share links publicly. You may not:

• Scrape the site in a way that disrupts service for others, ignores rate limits, or violates our robots directives.
• Attempt to interfere with, probe, or compromise site security.
• Republish or redistribute our content in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation we haven't given.
• Use the site to do anything illegal or harmful to others.

Normal reading, linking, quoting with attribution, and screenshotting are welcome.

3. Intellectual property

The content on the site — text, design, code, calculator logic, and visuals — is copyright © 2026 CreatorDecide, except where otherwise noted. Our logo, the name “CreatorDecide,” and the visual identity are ours.

Fair use: you may quote short excerpts with a link back, take screenshots, and cite our numbers in your own work with attribution. For anything bigger (reprinting full articles, bundling our tools, or using the name or logo commercially), please ask first at ideas@boringhaus.com.

4. No advice, no warranty

The calculators and articles are educational estimates only. They are not tax, legal, financial, or investment advice. See the full Disclaimer for the detailed version.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, missed deductions, failed deals, over- or under-paid taxes, or any loss of data — arising from or related to your use of the site, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the site is limited to $100 USD.

6. Third-party links

We link to platform documentation, IRS pages, and similar sources for reference. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices.

7. Changes to the site

We may add, change, remove, or break features at any time. Calculators may update their math when tax rules or platform terms change. Blog posts may be edited for accuracy or corrections after publication. We'll note material changes where we can but do not promise individualized notice.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, for any reason, without notice — especially if you're violating these Terms. You can stop using the site at any time. Sections that by their nature survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) continue to apply.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which the publisher is resident, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the site grows. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new Terms.
